What does a 4566 go for these days? No box with 3 mags, 3rd trigger guard (round) in very nice shape. It doesn't have the rail, which is a plus for me and I'm pretty sure it's not a TSW as well. Thanks

Does it have roll marks or laser etched markings? Spurless hammer? Decock only? Melonite finish

I ask, because these features might indicate production on special order for LE. While these are some nice features to have, I don't think they significantly enhance the value........well......decock only might be worth an additional $50 or so.

Anyways, to answer your question, I would expect to pay around $525 to $550, these days, for a 4566 as you describe. Hope this helps. Regards 18DAI

In looking at the pictures, the markings appear to be rollmarked, does not have a spurless hammer but it does appear to be a forged/black hammer, stainless finish, novak style sights, traditional double action.

In good condition, used, no box, with three mags I think $500 is a good deal and $550 a fair deal for a fine 45.

Superb pistol. I have one in my holster as I type this. Good luck! Regards 18DAI

I bought my 4566 Melonite with 2 mags, box, paperwork 2 years ago in Norcal for $600 and considered myself lucky. Fortunately, the 4566 is still on the CA DOJ handgun roster so there's no "off roster" premium to factor into the price like other 3rd Gen models missing from the list.

Since buying it, I haven't seen any other 4566's pop up at the LGS or Calguns.net for that matter, so even though it's a rostered gun, it's still going to carry some premium in CA for scarcity... I'd guess $550-600. Anything $500 and lower would be a no brainer for me.

my 4566TSW was at the top of the ranges mentioned. TSW tacks on a premium.
