I'm hunting a holster for my 4566TSW, preferably off-the-shelf (i.e., no wait time). Have thought about the Bianchi military type like the UM84/UM92 models. Is there one to fit a 4566TSW w/rail (and no accessory on the rail).

What about removing the rail? What options does that open up for me??

I had read here that the 4566TSW w/rail would fit holsters for the SIG229R...tried 3 that my local gun shop had...almost but no seegar....one was almost perfect, except the thumbbreak wouldn't snap.

Any recommendations??

Try uncle mikes kydex belt holsters. They have one for the 5906TSW with the rail. Might have it for the 4566TSW also. I had the rail removed from mine - then you can use any regular 4566 holster.

Ok I an dusting off an old thread here but there has been some good amount of 4566TSW holsters on Ebay lately. Ignore the cheapo nylon ones and there are some good Don Hume brand and other duty type holsters around.

Go onto ebay and type in '4566 Don Hume'. There is a company out of the Tidewater (VA) area that has NOS Don Hume holsters for 1/2 price. I have many of them.

WCM Surplus can be reached at [email protected] or at 757-689-4400.

As for the rail removal, send it into S&W. They do a great job and the best part is that it's FREE. E-mail Jim Rae ([email protected]) at the Performance Center.

Hope this helps!

I have a 4566TSW and I have had good luck using a sig 220 holster. I am using a blackhawk serpa cqc right now with no issues.
