I'm not even watching the news right now. People who know nothing about what happened are being interviewed so they can tell us what happened.

It will be days, if not longer, before we know what actually happened.

In the mean time, the tin foil hat brigades from all sides of the political spectrum will point fingers.

Craven politicians won't even wait for the bodies to cool before they use it to push their agendas.

In the end, the shooter's name will be famous, but only the families will remember the victims.

Like all of these incidents, it will be interesting to read about what actually occurred once we get past all the supposition and baseless pronouncements . . .

From what I have seen on the news, the people were outside in a confined area which, of course, increased the number of victims. This will probably be a mental health issue and that is a real problem. As a LEO, I handled several mental cases with weapons and, although, it ended with no injuries it makes a cork screw go up you spine. This Is a case of domestic Terrorism and we can only be vigilante and be ready to take care of our own and be prepared for " copy cat" incidents in the near future. This is not the America that I grew up in during the 1950's and 1960's and I fear for my grand daughters.

Not to diminish the loss of life and the heartache that will last for a very long time, but here we go again.........with the assault on our 2nd amendment rights..........I won’t go into all the questions about how did this happen, why etc, othe than we need to brace ourselves. Was following some comments on another website, one loon kept repeating that "fully automatic weapons are legal in Nevada and easily obtained". Every time actual laws regarding illegal modification, black market purchase, etc, were brought up, she just kept repeating the lie. Goebbels would have been proud. Like most here, I will wait until more info is provided before passing judgment...either way, nutjob killer's profile will eventually be brought to light.
