629 football or speedloader cut

May get a new 629, 4” barrel soon. I’m wanting to get Culina grips round to square butt conversion in Bubinga wood. Should I get football or speedloader cut? Any benefit/drawback to either? Since it will be a new gun, is it more true to the newer style to get the speedloader cut? I think football cut stopped in the 80’s according to prior thread posts I’ve read. I guess this is 3 questions wrapped into one post.

If you're gonna use speed loaders, then I'd get them cut for it, but I prefer footballs over speedy's any day. If I have to do a hurry up reload on a 44, it's probably too late by then, JMHO.
