638 Hard Chrome Review

I am surprised that they would not chrome the internals. I had them hard chrome the internals of my 649 back in 2018 they turned out excellent.

That is strange. Maybe they messed up the timing on one with too thick a coating do just stopped. I also wanted them to do a trigger job/light stoning, but not mess with any factory springs. They said they wouldn't do a trigger job without also shaving springs. I thought that was crazy.

From what I understand, S&W may fix that for free under warranty.

Oh really? I must contact them immediately.

I forgot to add that the changes reduced weight from 14.6 to 14.2 oz.
