[Rule 303]

Bought a Model 64-2, round butt, 2 inch Revolver today. Unfired in the box with tools and papers. No turn line on the cylinder.

Paid too much for it, but now I have one for each of my five granddaughters when they become adults. I also have lots of others for them, my grandsons, my daughters, son in laws, son and daughter in law.

I have a friend who wants to leave each his children a million dollars when he kicks the bucket. Me, I'm gonna leave my children and grandchildren enough guns and ammo to protect themsleves and their families from the tough times that I believe are comming in the future.

They are all shooters and know how to take care of themselves.

Sounds like a good plan. Be just as sure that they grow up with a physically fit lifestyle. Good health is going to be worth a LOT of money in the near future.

p.s. Depending on how pessimistic/realistic one is, those guns could be a lot more valuable than one million US dollars in the future!

Can I ask how much is too much? Reason being that I'm debating a NIB pinned 2 inch 64 myself. They want $449.

I paid $400.00 out the door.
Sales Tax where I live is 9%.
So I paid about $370.00 or so.

That's not too much at all...I paid $450 for a 64-2 that was pretty 'seasoned' finish-wise, but it polished up nice. NIB with box and docs? You got a good deal

Actually, I gave another member a heads up on it a couple weeks ago, he was looking for a 64 snub. He helped me find a 642 no lock when they were scarce a couple years back. I see it's still there, so I'll pull the trigger so to speak, this weekend.

I passed on a 64-2 snub last year that was $339 before tax and all. And I've kicked myself in the a** a few times over it. You won't be repeating my actions.

A member here bought it, I'm happy for him, I returned a favor. Good thing he only waited 3 weeks and not 3 weeks and a day, I was gettin' tired of looking at it every day.
