A gun with a police department past!

When I started on the job we carried a Victory model that had been nickeled, 6 in the gun, 12 on the belt....
Truth is, I never felt undergunned....

THAT brought back a few memories!

I started in 1975 and carried a 4" M-19. Same deal; 6 in the gun, 12 on the belt. BUT...I had TWO state of the art Bianchi SPEED STRIPS ...one in each jacket pocket!! Loaded with Super-Vel 110 gr HP's!! I was SET for ANYHING!! Or so I thought anyway.

Wonder if it was KC KS or KC MO PD that had that gun. I have spoked with several retired KC KS officers who IIRC said they carried .357 on the job. With all of 18 rounds on their person for backup lol

The guns are K.C.MO. pd, Buy the way in Kansas we carried .357's,or .38's . 12 extra rounds were carried worn in bullet loops with the handcuff case attatched to and below the 12 round carrier. This was worn on the opposite gun side. Not good at all for conbat reloading.

Funny, I don't remember hearing an advertisement like that on the radio here in CA. Musta' somehow missed it...

Looks great! I had LE marked S&Ws as one of my collection threads but now I'm looking more and more for them. To me they've become more interesting than regular S&Ws. Tough find though.
