A little production date help please?

Hi everyone, new here. Had a couple questions on approximate production dates for a couple of my revolvers

6" Model 586 - SN: AJD 99XX
4" Model 66-2 - SN: AAT 94XX

I really appreciate the assistance!

per SCSW 5th Edition,

AAT is 1983.

I'm not seeing ADJ, but AD_ prefixes start in 1983 and run through 1985.

I just realized I transposed the letters on the 586, it is AJD. Sorry about that!
