What Ken said. It's like saying the sky is blue, someones gonna disagree.
I'd pull a stunt like that and I'm sure he let them off the hook after a good laugh. And most likely the rube learned something and won't be fooled again.Kinda a teaching moment that won't soon be forgotten.

We truly apologize for offending you. Steve thought that those reading this post would comprehend that he is a just a good old country rube walking the aisle at the gun show and is neither the big city sophisticated type or a “dealer”. In light of all of our recent Doom & Gloom postings he thought it would be nice to post something of a light-hearted nature for a change. Looks like he was wrong. Again we apologize to you and any others that were offended by our political incorrectness. We will be much more restrained in any future postings.

Moderators if you feel this posting is bad taste please remove it. The last thing we want to do is stir up controversy.

I wasn't offended (my skin is a lot thicker than that), and I am truly sorry if my comments led you to believe that I was. I debated even posting them for fear they would be misinterpreted. Maybe my sense of humor is a bit different, that's all.

Although it's not the same, I also find no humor in the old standard of letting a new/young shooter fire off a 3" 12 gauge and watching the resulting show. Such things seem funny if you are 'in the know', but the joke is at the expense of the person upon whom it is perpetrated. I doubt "the rube" finds much humor in the joke either.

+1...it was funny...at least to me...there is not enough humor in our lives

I thought you were going to say that number: 252K001 stood for it's date of manufacture: February 5, 2001. Get it? :D
