A prayer request (update post #54) new update #59

Talked to her earlier today and she was in most great multitudes of pain. Just talked to her and her nurse and she's feeling much Dilaudid better.

Their thinking she may be able to get out patient therapy, as long as she comes and stays with me.

She's gonna be going nuts not being able to be in her new place.

Talked to the relator dude and he said if she couldn't come to him on the 14th, he'd come to the hospital or where ever she's at to sign the paper work.

Seems like things are gonna be OK as long as she listens to her body and rests when it wants to.

When you are in serious pain Dilaudid is a true blessing. Prayers continue for her rapid rehab and patience as I know she is one of those women who are constantly in motion and can't stand being idle.

PS: tell her thanks again for the peanut butter fudge. Ruthie said it is better than her mom's and that is indeed high praise.

I am happy to see she is going to be so close to your house as I'm sure that's a comfort for you. I just told Ruthie about this and she is relieved as well. She also said to hang tough and let the rehab nurses do their thing and June will be busting out before you know it.

PS: Ruthie took a bag of your mom's PB fudge to work with her and those that partook want the recipe.

I doubt she actually has one.

My ex tried for over 20 years to make breakfast gravy like mom's and she never came close.

I just spoke with Kevin. After 20 days in a nursing home in Osceola his mom is now in a rehab hospital 5 miles from his house. He is in her room chatting as I type.

June is doing well and in good spirits as they told her it won't be long before she will be in her new home. The daily 104 mile drive to see her through heavy traffic was nerve racking for Kev.

Kevin is most relieved.
