Look at the post from ChattanoogaPhil in the last part of the current optics thread. He has some 100 yard targets with groups that should make you feel a bit better.

As pointed out with pics, those targets were not with a 1522, but rather a Savage Mark II and Sig522 SWAT. It was a discussion of optics performance and use.

While I have found my 1522 to be the most fun for shooting off hand at soda cans and stuff, it is the least fun on paper.

OOPS, guess I need new optics....

I consistantly get 3/4" and smaller three shot groups at 50 yds. At times three shots in one hole. I use Winchester 36 gr. Copper plated hollow points sold in 333 and 555 packs. Used the gun on squirrels and rabbits last year with great success. Lots of fun!
