Guns opportunities seem to come to me in bunches. I was able to pick up this 99% 3904 with box and all the papers. these were only made from 1988 to 1990. I love the square trigger guard.

Then I happened onto to this NIB 5904. This product was designated for Hong Kong Police export. Mfg date was about 1997/1998. A very late gun that most likely just sat in the vault at S&W. I will research more but I looked at a 5906 TSW that had a similar pedigree. S&W pulled some of these that were sitting in their vault and sent them to distributor for sale. The fired case that came with the gun dates 2010. It came with the 10 round mags that were in place during the magazine ban.

OH...Bunches: I also bought a SW 547 9mm K frame revolver and a pre model 42 Centennial airweight J frame...all in 1 week. I think that is the most I have bought in a 7 day stretch....:D

WOW. Four Smith's added to the collection in one week. That is awesome! Hopefully the friendly BATFE agents that coming knocking on your door to inquire why you are stockpiling weapons will also share our love for Smith and Wesson's!

That 3904 is also in beautiful shape. I saw one back in the late 80's in a gun shop and handled it. The pisol felt great in my hand but the money was not in my wallet at that time. I have never seen another 3904 or 3906 for sale in any store or show. I see them occasionally online and will probably have to purchase one that way if and when I ever decide to add one to my collection. They are certainly one of the rarer ones.

ENJOY your new additions!

That's quite a haul for one week. All prime firearms. I stumbled across a 3904 (no box or papers) in mid March for $350.00. Near new condition, it's a very nice piece. In general I think what killed the 3904/06 was the 5904/06. Why settle for 8 or 9 rounds when you could have 14 or 15? On the other end the 3913/14 are more compact and hold 8 rounds. Too bad, because the 3904 is such a well made piece.

My 5906 is a dream to shoot, it's just a bit big for concealed carry.

The 547 is a gem, I wish I could find one that I could afford. A 3" RB would be an almost ideal carry revolver. Some day, perhaps.

And a pre 42 Centennial Airweight is nothing to sneeze at either.

A great week for you collection, if not for you bank account. ;) Congratulations.

I forgot to mention that the 3904 I picked up from a 1st time poster to the forum for $340. He is a great guy and hopefully will spend more time on here. Interesting enough he sold it for that exact reason... Wanted a full size witIh high capacity mag.

I bought it so I could have one of each variation, well major variation. CS9, 3914NL, 3913, 6906, and 5906. Two more and I can carry a different one each day of the week. Actually, I'd like to get a 3953, just to have a DAO variant.

It just never ends.

Beautiful additions to your S&W collection. Congratulations!

In a world of compromise, some people don't. We carry Smith & Wesson.

Good haul, I would have bought the 547 and ran out grinning like a fool not even paying attention to what else was there. Did you post pics of it in the revo sec? What is the barrel length? A 547 would look great next to my 940.

Been looking for a 3904 for a while. Anyone comes across one let me know.
