Adding Night Site to 442

Is it possible to have night sites installed on a J frame? I have a few J frames and I shoot my 642 Power Port Pro best and it has a great factory night site. I'd like to equip my others with the same site but I don't know anything about smithing and it appears that the ramp would have to be ground down and the barrel would need to be cut into to install the night site. Not sure if it would be easier just switching barrels to one that will already accomadate the night site like a 340 barrel.

Any suggestions?
