I am wanting to know if someone has a bluebook or serial number book that could tell me when my model 629 classic was manufactured?
It has a 7.5" ported bbl and serial number is CEE 3377
I really enjoy this site but darn it time is always keeping me somewhere else with family and jobs.
Any help ,would be appreciated.

According to how I read the SCS&W 3rd edition the 629-5 production began in 1997.

CEExxxx would be in the Apr - Oct 2000 timeframe but I am not too good with the three letter prefixes. Edition 4 (which I don't have) should have a better handle on them.

Thanks Mike. I do not have access to the manuals so I appreciate your time and effort. That seems to be pretty close since I have had the revolver a long time and just now getting around to shooting it on a regular basis. It's a fantastic revolver and i believe i might need a few more.
