Well, I've tried just about every brand name of razor out there. 3,4, and 5 blades. They all clog up way too easy. So, I'm at the Dollar Tree store with my wife and they have these 3 bladed razors with 4 refills for you guessed it, $1. I'm checking them out and see that the space between each blade looks bigger than what I'm used to seeing in the "expensive" brands, might be just what I'm looking for. So I bought one pack and went home.
Best purchase I ever made. They don't clog and rinse out easily. Shaves my head and my face with never a nick. I.m still on my first one, been using the same blade for 4 weeks now. Absolutely blew me away ! A 25 cent razor that out performs the $5 a piece stuff. Guys, you owe it to yourself to try these out, you won't be sorry, Shoo

Get a good Balding clipper by Wahl, about $45. I just run the clippers front to back twice a week. How anyone can drag a razor over their head is beyond me. I hate shaving my face, but shaving my coconut doesn't sound like fun.

I shave my head totally bald two or three times a year. I use a Mach 3 which works well. Once I shave it I only shave it for about 2 weeks though. My face eats them up quicker than my head!

My facial hair growth was so fast and thick, initially I had to shave twice a day in basic... this resulted in me being a bloody mess... I can NOT shave against the grain on my neck. My TI got sick and tired of me always being bloody, so he sent me to the clinic to get a SHAVING WAIVER! Haha... I could only shave once a day, every other day! If a TI wanted to yell at me for not shaving, I just pulled out my waiver.. which they hated, but couldn't do a thing about. I still have the waiver somewhere...

What the heck is a dollar tree store and what do I do to plant a dollar tree.

Dollar Tree Store is a chain of stores in which everything is $1.00...they are pretty much nation wide.

However: that being said, Consumer Reports did a study of them recently and found that everything they sell for $1.00 is NOT a bargain.

BUT: Like Shooboy said, lots of things there are. We buy paint brushes at 4 for a $1.00. Use it and throw it away, no fuss, no muss, no bother.

Shooboy, I love them Dollar Stores TOOOO!

Good Luck,

I thought that you were going to tell us you came out with a shooboy razor that doubles as a gunsmithing hammer, now that would be cool!!!

So I guess I can't plant me one? Double Dang,Had my hopes high.

The dollar trees around here sell the 1qt. Arizona Sweet teas for you guessed it, $1. Well, then you have to add the CA beverage container rental fee of .05 but I can handle that as long as I remember to save them all up and stand in line in the 100+ heat on the only black pavement I've seen in CA to get my nickles back. Other than making it myself that's the only way I can get sweet tea around here.

They do a lot of close out, damaged in shipment stuff. A good one was bags of Wild Bill's jerky for .99.

Can of chili, etc.

Hey when your divorced and paying child support a man's gotta do what he does.

havent shaved since 1980......

but when i did, i used to use the same razor for ever too
(getting back to the op by shooboy)

when you use the same one for a while, it gets dull, which
is exactly what i wanted...it lessens the chance of cutting yourself
you could hack away and feel safe you would never draw blood

and at very early in the morning, staring in a mirror, the last
thing i wanted to do is cut my throat or any other part of my face

although, i did really like using the mug and brush to lather up
which is about the only thing i might remotely considering missing!

i have saved a lot of hot water over the years!!!!!

I buy the "middle of the line" three blade disposable razors. Sometimes one will shave great and last a long time and sometimes it won't, but they are cheap and give a nice shave and I probably only have to spend 10-15 bucks a year on razors. I shave in the shower without shaving cream and aim the water jets on my face, and it makes for a very smooth and fast shave if you have decent water pressure. I always shave in a downward motion and it is not as close on my neck and chin as going upward, but it is close enough, and that way I won't get too close and get ingrown hairs. I also floss and brush my teeth in the shower so there is no mess to clean up on the sink and mirror. I do use the mirror and a dry razor to trim my sideburns.

I always pictured Shoo as a full headed-thick haired individual, but he turns out to be the q-ball type. Funny how you create images of people that you meet online.

I say we should get a shoulder up photo of Shoo!!!

This one is just what the "qball" wanted :D
"The Dollar store" exist here in sweden to,
next time i go there i'll have a look.

By the way, i usually shave my head when i take a shower
and most of the hair in the razor rinse out fairly well.

And a "Shooshaver" would probably sell well here ;)

Shoo, I think I found the ones you are talking about. Are they called Super Max? The only ones my store had were the ladies pink ones.:(

Yes sir, those are the ones. My buddy just tried them and can't stop thanking me enough, he shaves his head too. See if you can find them at another store or tell me how many you want and I'll drive or walk over and get them for you, Shoo

Shoo, all I can say is "any guy with facial hair and an earring in his left ear can't be all bad". I have both and I'm 74 years old! :)
