Aguila SSS 60g

I am a new member as of 8/7/2012 so if i missed a posting regarding this ammunition chalk it up as a newbie mistake.

Anyone have any info on shooting this ammo through the M&P 15-22. I reviewed some blogs saying the twist on the M&P 15-22 is not enough to stabilize this type of round. Sadly i have about 200 rounds of it but it was cheap so no major financial set back.

You can shoot it, although it really needs a 1:9 twist for best results. The accuracy will be OK out to 50-60 yards, but after that it keyholes (tumbles) badly.

How loud is it compared to the CCI quiet? Might work well for my BY shooting with about 35 yards being the max distance.

Even when you do pull the trigger, I still think it is pretty damn quiet!

the sss 6gr are not the quietest ss rounds i've used, i actually found them to be sort of loud.

SSS are just as loud as any standard/high velocity ammo.. i shot them just fine. I had 6 2" shoot n ser targets at 50 yards i was touching bullseye on all of them one shot each target after sighting for them

I will definately use the ammo i purchased but most likely will streer clear of future purchases.
