Am I a hoarder or am I addicted and need help. I live in a free state so no mag restriction's. I have at least 20 30 round Magpul magazines for our two AR15's and one C-Beta 100 round. About 12 25 round magazines and one 50 round Bulldog magazine for the 15-22. 10 round magazine for the .380 BG and 4 7 rounder's no not for carry just for the range. Heck (can't use asterisks got a slap on the wrist for that) I even bought a BX25X2 for a Ruger 10-22 and I don't even own one, but a good reason to get one and have always wanted one. I bought them because I can and can afford them, and you never know when they could be deemed illegal if certain people get their way. What can I say I like high capacity, and I like to have at least 4 magazine for each of my firearm.

So what's your thoughts do I need help?

No you don't. It's your money, spend it on what you like. I collect brass for calibers I don't even own. You never know!

Meh... I also have tonnage of brass I don't reload.

During the shortage of '08-'09 I bought a couple hunnert .380 JHP because it was there. I don't nor have I ver owned a .380.

Wound up trading it this go round for some unobtanium Yugo brass x54R.

Ammo & mags don't eat anything and they don't go bad. Look at it as liquid assets. Unless you paid $100 a pop for those P Mags from cheaper than gold that is...

You are just a pup that is showing some potential as a collector. Get back to me in 5 or 10 years when you actually have collected a lot more guns and a lot more magazines and some decent stocks of ammo. Then we can discuss your having an addiction.

nope a little overy prepared but i think youre still within the realm of sanity, tread carefully from here on...
i have a couple gallon buckets of 38spl in reloading rotation and another 2500 once fired 38s waiting to be thrown into rotation , yet ill still habitually pick up any stray brass i see on the range.obsesive/compulsive or cheap?
were all the same/different!

Sounds to me that hoarding is not your problem,boasting is....might be a self esteem issue but I doubt very much the fine gentlemen of this forum will offer anything other that "Is that all you got?"

Na if I was boasting Í would be talking about the creates of ammo in the basement waiting to be shot. Never was one to boast, just trying to figure if I should stop buying.

Naw. Until you've got enough ammo to keep all them loaded, you're fine. When that happens you're prepping.

You're not hoarding until you can't get from one side of the room to the other, without moving a few boxes. But then, you could always buy a bigger house.

BTW: I just order four BX-25 magazines. And the one 10-22 I own, I'm never going to shoot it (commemorative piece). Guess I'll start looking for that stainless breakdown model...

No, you need more magazines.

Right after I got my M1A, I bought every mag that I could afford.



Better to have and not need than try to find them in the present environment.
