As long as we're drifting....... McNeilly Road/McNeilly Park and the old South Catholic HS is the site of the original family farm ...... 1820s/30s.

My weekend won't be like that, kids & grandkids coming this afternoon, household goes from 1 to 7 with lots of speedbumps.
Plans include all going to the county fair tomorrow. Sunday is grandson's Bday, 14, where have the years gone? His main present is to go to the range and shoot my 10/22 as much as he wants to. And now that he will be 14 (one of Iowa's laws that needs changed) he can try out a hand gun. And of course, dad & Grandma get to shoot too.
