I know this is being discussed on another thread, but I'm wondering if anyone else here is as annoyed as I am about Google shutting down hickok45's YouTube video channel.

Quickly in insurance speak is about a year. The courts take one to two years at best.
As much as I like our big ol' Dodge truck, it doesn't have many places to put stuff.
There's a CD player but no place to keep CDs. Today I wandered out to my garage workshop (it's cold out there) grabbed some scraps and made a box that'll fit between the seat and the cup holder.
It'll hold twenty one CDs and fits perfect.
It's just a hunk of pine for the bottom with masonite sides.
Hmm, I wonder how it'd look covered with a hunk of tooled leather?

Got some bad news. Hasn't been a good week for pets.
The friends we're gonna visit this weekend just had to have their pet cat put down yesterday.
My father in law's blind and his seeing eye dog got put down on Monday.
We're planning on visiting him while we're in VA this weekend.

Sorry to hear that, but now you and Mrs. Snubby have an opportunity to uplift spirits in 2 different households. I know you guys won't disappoint in that regard. Some think I'm hokey for looking at the world that way, but it has served me well, I think, my whole life.

Good, sounds like you agree with me and wish there was more time the thread didn't occupy the top one or two spots in the Lounge. I had no way of knowing how long it would last, but was just happy for the two hour respite. Thanks, all I ever asked for was moderation, the Lounge should be shared equally by all of us, right?

I agree with all the opinions that stated this thread is not dead!!
I have enjoyed the back and forth commentary between the members posting here, beer time!, and the high level of humor without any vicious attacks that would lock the thread.
I will continue to stop by and add comments to help this thread to drift annoyingly

If you think this thread is worthless, why do you continue to check and post in it?
By doing so you keep it at the so called top of the thread list. It is not like a viewer in the Lounge is prevented from viewing earlier Lounge threads anyway.
I'm not picking a fight, just wondering?

103 passengers and only 40 meals got loaded on a Ireland to US flight.
The Airline had messed up, and the crew was in a fix. However, one smart flight attendant has an idea. About 30 minutes into the flight she nervously announces, "I don't know how this happened but we have 103 passengers and only 40 dinners.".
When the passengers muttering had died down she continued, "Anyone who is kind enough to give up his/ her meal so that someone else can eat, will receive free unlimited liquor during the entire duration of the flight.".
Her next announcement came an hour and a half later, "if anyone wants to change his/her mind we still have 40 dinners available!".

I think he wants to enjoy the thread, but the long lists of pictures without much humor or thought sort of gets monotonous and dominates the thread. So when it pops up to the top, you check in and see 47 pictures of fruitbaskets.
Of course, I could be wrong. It's been known to happen. Just ask my wife.

The mere mention of lutefisk, however, makes me retch and laugh at the same time.
