Driftin' Backwards...

Back to work for a week, foot just not taking the beating. Not terrible, just not improving. Slipping and siding and managing to whack it once or twice not helping.
Don't like this, work is shorthanded due to 2 retirements, others are battling their own wear and tear ailments, vacations coming up and the amount of overtime available is staggering... really handy this time of year.
So as I sit and mope with ice and aspirin keeping me company this remains a good diversion in the between the minor make work I can find around the place.
Gotta go finish rust removal on a cast iron skillet a friend gave me to rehab. Something to do!

The drift never sleeps! My last day working this week and I am getting my truck loaded for the deer lease. No drift there so I will have a lot of catching up,cell phone works sometimes but a lot of dead spots on the way.

Have a good time, Vonn, & good luck! I don't hunt but I'm definitely a carnivore & some venison back strap sounds pretty good right now...fried up with a bunch of onions. As to the cell phone, sometimes it's a good thing to slip the leash & unplug...

Dang you, PR! I couldn't select one of those breakfast plates so I guess I'd have to go with one of each, please. Any of those luscious examples of the culinary arts would be better than what I'm actually having for breakfast: Reduced sodium Cheesy Puffs covered with Tabasco Special Reserve...
