Back before I met Mrs. Snubby, I usta move around a lot and I was renting a room. So, I just moved in with her.Lab pointed out that songs become mile markers in our lives.
34 years ago, this was our first dance song at our wedding. Every time I hear it, I am transported back to that happy time and I arrive misty eyed.

And I'm a lightweight,seriously [emoji57]
I blame that time I may have kicked a stuck truck and the other time I dropped a cement block on it lol
I really had no idea that beer aggravated it [emoji33]
I'll never ski again.sniff
I'm thinking more s&w N frames and a 1911 or two. I been on the wagon for a year now. Gotta go slow and be picky on what I buy.
Just in the 50's today temp wise. A far cry from 10 below on Sunday.
I don't know wether to put more clothes on or sunscreen?
What about the this mosquito virus??
I bought a bug zapper. If it's bad I may make a bug zapper with my 200 amp welder. I love that long buzzzzzzzz when they hang on.
I don't believe it...this may be the first time ever I've opened a new page...

Well, I am thinking about a big bore single action for hunting whitetails and fun at the range. I found a decent deal on a .45LC. That should suffice for whitetails with the right load I think. Any experts in the drift have an opinion? I have zero experience with this caliber as I have always been a .44 mag shooter previously.
I have also been looking at a Springfield XD Mod 2 .45 subcompact. Lots of firepower in a fairly small package...not for deer hunting by the way.
I am also eyeing a Marlin 30-30. And no...I can't buy them all.
Like I said...I'm all over the place.
Here we go arjay,
Google is my friend..
Alcohol has often been identified as a significant risk factor in the development of excessive uric acid levels (or hyperuricemia) and gout. In many instances, episodes of gout are triggered in the middle of night after a particularly lively session of inebriation.
For centuries, there has been a strong association between the occurrence of gout and specific lifestyles characterised by diets rich in red meat, high intakes of salt and alcohol, and a pronounced preference to a sedentary life with very little or totally non-existent physical exercise. This is the sort of lifestyle that many people tend to adopt, unfortunately, as they advance towards middle age, the lifestyle once adopted by kings and noblemen. As a result, gout in the past was often called "the royal affliction."
The uric acid builds up in your blood, which the body then converts to crystals to get it out of the blood, and the crystals are deposited in your joints adding to the accumulated deposits already present there. Once that, too, exceeds tolerable levels, the joints become inflamed with gout.
On the other hand, not all kinds of alcohol contribute to the occurrence of gout. Among all the alcohols studied, beer poses the highest risk, while wine and spirits have the least risk. It makes you wonder what it is about beer that makes it so critical.-------
I've not had any problems with it myself but red Meat, Beer,
and alcohol are some of my favorite things in life.

Yes. A Blackhawk. I also want a barrel length less than seven and a half inches. Yeah I know...longer sight radius...blah blah blah. I just don't like how long barrels balance.Me too like a kid with a $1 in a candy store.
The Blackhawk in 45 long colt?
BigBill,
Great minds must think alike !!
I'm leaning the same direction. Either a nice shooter N-Frame
or 1911 as i currently have neither.
I really like the looks of those model 520 or maybe a 4"
model 28-2. I don't want a gorgeous model 27 that i'll
be afraid to tote around. But if i find that screamer deal
i wouldn't pass one up either.
I don't really know which way i'd go if i decided on a 1911.
Colt, probably series 70. But there's a lot to choose from
out there in a 1911. My budget will be around 1 grand or
possibly a little more but not much. Got a buddy who has
a Kimber short officers type model, i'm not sure of what
model Kimber it is. But i've shot it and it felt good and shot
well for me for the 20 or so rounds i put thru it.
Any suggestions in this price range for a 1911 would be
appreciated. Tell me what you all like in a 1911 that's
not too expensive. It wouldn't be a carry gun, just for
maybe hunting Hogs, but primarily a bowling pin gun for
my buddies gravel pit range.
