A couple of years ago I weighed 170 pounds. Over the past few years I've gained 60 pounds due to treatments, doctor visits and a drastic lifestyle change.
Last year I lost 30 pounds but gained 20 back over the winter. Now I've got the 20 pounds back off and I'd like to get 30 more off.
Anyway, we just had a bunch of bananas go bad and my wife cooked up a batch of her famous banana bread.
Being on a diet sucks.

Anyone ever drive at night on the highway through a swarm of lightning bugs?
I would not recommend it to any veterans who were involved in a fire fight involving tracer rounds - could trigger flashbacks.
Kinda surreal to see a point of light shoot past the car - and even some continue to glow after being splattered on the windshield.

Don't see lightning bugs around here much anymore and I am not real sure why. Think I will put that on my list of things to find out why! Major part of an evenings entertainment when I was a kid . Thanks for the memories.

Too many people treating lawns with fertilizer mixed with insecticide, I think. The females stay down in the grass, blinking the lightning bug equivalent of "Come here often, sailor?"
