Something wrong with waking at 5am on a Saturday if you are not going hunting or fishing!

I'm drifting by the window, watching the snow.
The birds to feeder, they come and they go.
so pour me some tea and leave me alone,
and I'll post to the drifters before I leave home.
Of penguins and phasers and magazines and clips
some of these drifters must surely have flipped.
Yet day in and day out I always do look
To see if some new thing's been put in the book.
By Big Chief, or Snubby, vonn, Kframe or Mike,
then I'll spend half the day to post something they'll like.

Another board I read has a thread "What is the last gun you bought?"
It currently has 8,759 responses and has been running since June 2007.
This one has only been out a little over a year and is rapidly closing the gap (8,177 or so.......)
I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing..

Beautiful spring day here today,sure feel for those among us who are drifting through snow drifts. Should be the end of winter. Gonna do some turkey hunting soon,try to get a big tom as long as there aren't to many rattlers out drifting around.

I've never been to Iowa and Pawngals hometown name has intrigued me since I first saw it.
I finally googled it and was quite surprised.
Apparently, there are more than just 5 Great Lakes! It seems Iowa has been hiding the fact that they have 5 more Great Lakes right there in Okoboji.
They've managed to to keep this fact hidden from geographers and the world at large forever.
And it has a teeming population of 807, including Ms. PG.
It looks like a good place to vacation. In the summer.
I was going to vacation in Belize this year, but I've changed my reservations.
Here are some pics:
The obligatory post card.
A couple of lake shots.
The creatively named "The Inn". You mid- westerners are so daring.
And of course, Ms. Pawngal, herself, at the helm of a pawned 28'Fountain. Gotta make sure it's in good order.
