Storm blew in about an hour ago,not what we need here today! Starting to be aggravating. Storm doesn't look as big as what has been coming in but still big enough to flood even more area because the drainage is FULL.We don't do things half way here,I think the storms are now worse than what we get from a big hurricane.

Stay safe, my friend. My thoughts are with you and the communities of Texas and Oklahoma so terribly affected by the flooding.

Just had the first summer thunderstorm blow through! Very little in the noise and electrical show but gave us a good 15-20 minute downpour! ;)
We really need the rain here and we have been put on a drought watch.
We ll I think it's over! :)
Now to go around and see if the new roof leaked?

57 years ago today, the beautiful F4 Phantom II made its first flight.

Once upon a time, back when McDonnell-Douglas was run by airplane people instead of <ed> The sales team prepared for a presentation. They had a beautiful model made, with perfect artistic balance. Coming off the elevator in the higher levels of the Pentagon, a Vice President DROPPED THE MODEL and the elevator door smashed into it.
Holding the battered model in his trembling hands, the team examined it in horror! The tailplane was broken in the middle and drooped left and right, the wings went down and the tips went up, it was bent in the middle and the nose was drooped.
At that moment with the entire team in the depths of utter despair, the Admiral in charge of the acquisition got off the opposite elevator after a five martini lunch, and shouted, "That's whut we needs, oregano thminkling."
And that launched 5,000 plus aircraft.

Who thinks they should have left a least a pair of 20mm cannon on it!
