Wife and I had a nice long hike. Started out pleasantly warm and partly sunny. About half way through our hike it started sprinklin', didn't come down any harder or last very long. Then the sun came back out and we drifted on back home.

Has anybody been to a barber who doesn't talk the whole time he's cutting your hair

Not many real barbershops around my part of the city, so I go to one of the salon chains. Most of the girls who cut my hair are a minimum of fifty years younger than I am. They have no idea what to say to a man my age.

I drifted back to my private shooting range about an hour ago. Put 26 rounds thru my 642 and 30 thru my (mumble, mumble)sp_101. Swinging steel targets. Not a whole lot of shooting, but relaxing. Ahhhhhhhh......

I detest perkiness except in rare anatomical applications of the term. But having some airhead ask about my gastrointestinal misadventures in a perky tone and wearing a smile that bespeaks sadism is a bit damn much.

Drifting along at a good clip here today. Hope everyone has a good Friday . I tip my lady barber well so she won't cut too much of my hair! She likes it short and if I am not paying attention I get a job that looks like one of Snubby's tribe members got after me! She fixes me up with some Vietnamese food every so often so I keep coming back.

Since July 4th of 2014, I have won three separate drawings for a CZ P09, a brick of .22 lr, and just this week, 100 rounds of whatever caliber ammo I choose. I do not play the lottery. I fully expect Publishers Clearinghouse to knock on my door.
