MUCH MORE RARE THAN TONIGHT'S LUNAR ECLIPSE!

On 19 October, at precisely 0402 hours Eastern Time, all the stars in the constellation Feces will flash blue for twenty-nine seconds, briefly causing the earth's tides to run sideways. This will not happen again for 17,314 years. According to the Mayan calendar it will usher in six hundred years of extreme silliness, and worldwide shortages of whoopee cushions, schnozz glasses and plastic dog droppings.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

I wonder how many westerns were made from the late 1940s until the mid 1960s that didn't have Jay C. Flippen, Harry Morgan, Walter Brennan, or Paul Fix in them?

The number can't be very large. Add in Ward Bond it's it probably very small.

Some movies had more than one of them in the cast.

Sadly, the character actor seems to have vanished from modern movies.

Along with the entertainment.

Why do weekends take so long to get here but leave us in the blink of an eye? Did I mention that I hate Mondays?
