You know, I made a promise to myself that if my Ranger problem resolved positively, I would look around for another semi auto to add to my "accumulation". Problem is...I can't find any thing that I can afford or would want to own. There was a nice PC 1911 on A'list at a very reasonable price, but the guy would never answer my emails, & my computer kept locking up on the site. Anybody seen any S&W's in 45ACP at a reasonable price anywhere?
Tim, a few weeks ago, my LGS had a 4506, 1 mag w/no box for $500.00.

The range was sleeping with everyone shooting 9mm's.
I let six rounds go of 41 mag full house loads and woke everyone up. The new s&w larger grips were worth the money.

Thanks for the lookout, but I've got a 4506-1 that I'm pretty proud of. Great gun...has a habit of making even me look good at the range. It's even got a back story too. I found it on line, turned out to be at the pawn shop where "Cajun Pawn" was filmed at, if you remember that show. I bought it from Robby, one of the guys on the show.

Old Forbes Field in Oakland/Pittsburgh...... now it's the library and Law School.....
Use to be a section of the right field wall behind the Law School........ so I can say I stood and played ball where Roberto Clemente played!!!

Good morning drifters. I see everybody is up and going strong this morning so Monday must be over.
NASA says there is liquid water on Mars. Does that mean we have found an untouched trout stream? I can see it now, spaceships full of fishermen heading to Mars to get in on the new find. Instead of a big brown trout there may be a big red trout.
