Annoyed at thread drift

Well folks amidst the flooding I think I will call this day done. The music has been good and I thank all responsible for putting it on here for us all to listen to.

Keep the drift alive tonight and avoid the hoards of whatever might be attacking sounds like some of you are being attacked by snowmen or maybe it's just Jack Frost.

Home from the big Fire Dept. dinner,had some really good prime rib! Firemen like to eat so they always going to have some really good food. Got a really nice Yeti cup with the logo so really hit the jackpot! Hope Pawngal had a good date,good people deserve good things to come their way. She has to be a pretty good lady to put up with this bunch! Drift on,don't worry be happy.

How did you do it?
Explosives?
Shot it out with a .17 Remington Center Fire?
Soak the slide in hot oil and touch the rear sight with liquid nitrogen?
Had an ex-NFL center hold the slide and push the sight out with his pinky?
Take it to the gunsmith who pushed it out the opposite way you tried?

Great choice not only of song but also of venue. I listened to Battle of Evermore off the same page... gave me goosebumps. I need to look into that No Quarter DVD.
Saw the date 1994 and realized 22 years had passed. 22 years previous would have been 1972 and Zep was hitting their stride. I was 12 and just becoming aware of the world regarding music and events. Made me nostalgic and melancholy for about 3 seconds until I realized just how semi OK I have it now.

I used a friend's AmeriGlo Sight Tool. (As recommended by loknload - THANK YOU, MY FRIEND!!)

Actually, that was what I did. In my defense the instructions were backwards and it was pre-internet...I didn't have a mic to check the slot size...my absolution was paying the nice gunsmith to replace the sights. Sigh...

Ruger Standard MK I... if you must know, traded off for a T-514 years later.

The new sights (XS Sight Systems) come with great instructions, so that wasn't my problem. I've also had lots of experience swapping out S&W sights and never needed anything more than my brass hammer - until now, that is.

-13 is beyond my tolerance factor! Low 70's here this afternoon. I don't even want my ice cream to be that cold! Everyone needs to pray for the Supreme Court pick to be a good one,the country needs all the help it can get. Going to have to recheck the whole process of what it takes to get the next Judge up and going.
 
Rant of the day - everyone and their mother are posting about the temperature, ok its cold this morning, it will get warm again. Get over it, turn the heat up, wear more clothes, and cover your skin up. Ok it is 16 degrees here in Springfield. Whats yours?

At 4:30 this morning my weather station registered -27.

Sorry for sending the snow your way but I was done with it. Got about 4 inches.

For those inquiring minds, date was only so-so. Some men can be incredibly boring, present company exempted.
Good thing is I have yummy homemade cheesecake to keep me happy. And I wonder where those excess pounds come from?

Think I will be boring today and clean guns and do laundry.
