Top O' the Morning To Ya'. Why do I have a green t-shirt on? It's not shamrock green, it's more of a split pea soup green. I think BCC's travels are getting to me. I'll just put on my Big Cheese baseball cap with special anti-mind-control-ray lining and everything will be just fine. In a few minutes I'll head out on foot patrol. I noted the talk of vegan zombies and will vector my walk to the vicinity of Whole Foods Market. After my walk I need to go to Trader Joe's anyway. If vegan zombies are about, these places would be where they are most likely to make appearances. More later. Each of you have a great day!
 
Spring

Out walking Dylan this morning, and watching light come to our portion of the world. Leaves on the oaks are small miniatures of what they will be. Spruce trees are covered with bright green buds on the branch ends, Our tulips are almost ready to open and bloom. The ferns are unfolding and reaching for the sky. Assorted other wild things have green leaves and bright blue flowers, or white flowers. Snubby's video of the bike ride down the B&O canel showed his part of the world greening up nicely. BigCityChief's pictures showing lots of green in Ireland ! Makes you wonder why nature can show such promise this season of rebirth and the news of the world blathered about by our news idiots shows mainly the dirt and grime of humanity? 😖 And why do they have to blather so loudly about negatives 😨 when nature does it quietly and positively! 😇

Probably felt the same superiority 😖 that present day internet grammar nazi's 😛 do when belittling someone about their grammar and expounding upon how their relatives had a B.S, M.A., PHd (piled higher and deeper 💩 in this context) in grammar or speaking.
Living somewhat near an institution of higher learning, and having worked there for a while (wife still does) I have witnessed the class separation, and elitetism that higher learning often brings in belittling the 'common' man (PC alert, not 'person'). 😞

Glad BCC is having a good time! He does know we're all expecting souvenirs? I'll take a cute redhead!

Its starting off cloudy today here in Middle Tennessee. Might rain this afternoon? I have NO clue? I don't care. I have NO plains.

I'm Fixing to go back to bed. And dream about Irish Emu's that live in stained glass castles, that wear full body armor!

So stay safe, PLEASE go vote if your in a state that has a primary election today. Be strong and be well!!! Remember to Take your medications. Sounds like I need mine????

Good morning everyone,,,,Happy Tuesday!
Not a great day here so far, cloudy and getting ready for some rain! They are calling for some thunderstorms to be visiting the ares? Probably hit when I need to get the Corvette out! :rolleyes:
Got a lot of things already, First thing I did was go vote, next thing I did was go pay our property taxes!and then I went and picked up my pool supplies for the season.,
The pool is open and ready for business, water is a bit cold though! :eek: For just getting it opened and losing my cover over the winter my water chemistry is perfect! :D

Good morning drifters. It's 68 degrees and the sun is shining on the desert this morning as it is supposed to do otherwise, well you know, freezing and all that.

No hordes were spotted during the night and no sign is to be had after a quick walk around this morning. Maybe they're off conspiring with the vegan zombies or maybe they're eating the zombies after all they are vegetables aren't they?

Of course at a certain age, well me 😛 , a cold water pool dip would be the precursor to possible chest pains, muscle cramps and could not even get out of the pool! 😭

Hey the weather turned around here! :cool: Sunny and 78 degrees maybe it isn't going to rain on the Corvette after all! :D At least if it does it will rinse the pollen off of it! ;)
You ever notice how pollen drifts onto things but when its on something it never blows off? :confused:

Just got back from a trip almost to the range! 😏
High hopes, was going to be a .38 day. Model 67, Rossi 92 16" barrel, CA police bulldog snubby, and lots of ammo! 😊 Kind of hazy, no direct sun, mid 60's, perfect !!!! ☺
Started raining about half way, checked the weather app on my phone, T storm on the way, with 2 big areas of orange and red!! Spark alert showed lightning with 5 miles!
Turned around, rushed home to get the horses out of the pasture, and in the barn!
Lots of rumbling and lightning now within 2 miles!
