Just saw that some crazies in China hacked 27 people to death at a rail road station, just goes to show this can happen anywhere. Note I had to go see where I saw this, I thought it was the Drudge report but believe it or not it was on MSN they usually just cover firearm murders, maybe they are begining to be a news nework. jeff

Good thing, that the oppressive government, with it's draconian gun control laws, was able to protect all those people from harm! As far as body counting in that mess goes, If the numbers of left hands matches the right hand you just assume you have the right number. Ivan
 
There's a photo titled something to the effect of " a party official visiting an injured victim " . And that says it all...

...this again proves that you just can't trust edged weapons. I recall the public post boards back in the Middle Ages. Everywhere you went, you'd see a "BAN ASSAULT BOWS" notice. Some even protested the carrying of swords, but bows were seen as much more dangerous because of the development of the quiver which held more than 10 arrows! Hunting bows were deemed safe as long as you didn't carry more than three arrows and a bow with a pull over 30 pounds. Military-style longbows and those exotic recurves were OUT! Crossbows could be owned after a background check as long as the High Sheriff approved and they were kept at a sanctioned crossbow range. Similar to our TSA, they had a CWC (Citizen Weapons Check) at every bridge. A shoe check wasn't needed. Carrying an illegal weapon resulted in a PERMANENT removal from society and banishment of your entire family. Perhaps we're returning to the Middle Ages?
I wonder how many would have died if the citizenry in China were armed?
 
I saw this. Was shocked as the death count was 29 originally with
over 100 also injured. WTH ????
Same thing happens over the pond in England although maybe
not to this extent.
Ban guns, and stupid or hateful people will always find a way to kill
or harm others.
Has anybody heard what this was about in China and by whom ?

Short version, it is an ethnic issue. China has begun really making Western China and Tibet more "Chinese" over the last few years. Xinjiang province is home to the Muslim Uighur minority group and they have campaigning for more autonomy for a while.

Sounds like a ban on swords in there future no more ginsu knives too.

No wonder why we're seeing no sales on samuri swords there hoarding them.

Look out for the copycats here? Time to practice more & more.

Watch out we're we go, don't let your family out of sight. I feel like GOD watching over my son's when were bear hunting protecting them. Now I need to watch over everyone when were out in public too.
