Any changes in Pennsylvania reciprocity on the horizon?

When the former State Attorney General came into office, she negated the reciprocity of any Concealed Carry permit issued to a non-resident for almost every state that issued a permit to non-residents, with just a few exceptions.

Since Ms Kane has been found guilty of the charges filed against her, and she has resigned, has there been any movement in restoring recognition of ALL carry permits issued by the affected states? Prior to her being disbarred, indicted, found guilty, then ultimately her resignation, there had been confident talk that recognition of the affected non-resident permits would be restored.

Has anyone heard of any movement?

Thanks for posting this.

Ah! I had wondered why my Maine permit was no longer honored beginning last year. I had thought it was because PA did not like the fact that ME had gone to constitutional carry.

It would be nice to get PA back on board with the current trend in expanding legal CC across the nation.

Probably not but as I see it none resident permits are still valid and so are out of state permits

Au contraire!

"Pennsylvania Honors Non-Resident Permits/Licenses From the States They Honor Except for: Arizona, Florida, Mississippi, Utah and Virginia."

"They have agreements that specifically states (sic) “Legal Resident of AZ, FL, MS, UT and VA."

"You can see the agreements Here. AZ, FL, MS, UT and VA Permit/Licenses issued to non-residents are no longer valid in PA."

"North Dakota2 - PA only honors the ND Class 1 Permit."

Then there's all the legal bullhooey about what the PA Attorney General has full power over, and authority to do with all existing LTCF reciprocity agreements.

PS: lrrifleman, you're right; and I agree with you 100%.

Replying to this. Like I said....again....most states remained. A few did change.

OK I think I see what your getting at. When I said.... "probably not" .... That was a reply to the question if anything has changed since her arrest
