Greg...Would melt them down and re-cast my WC's before trading.

There is no safety reason that would prevent you from creating loads for using those projectiles in the 38 and 357 cartridges.

I've done it. Was a non-event. Tin can accurate for plinking chores.

Not really a safety issue, but if your lead bullets are too small/hard to seal the bore you will probably see some leading. Load up some test samples first and see how they do.

Prolly get leading and poor accuracy from the lead bullets and poor accuracy from the jacketed, maybe tumbling...

Agree with what others have said, no safety issues. But, accuracy may suffer a bit.
Work up several loads and try them out.
Let us know what, if anything, worked well.

I have done it for shooting steel plate matches. Worked fine.

No harm but they will probably shoot like krap. Undersized bullets of any flavor are not going to stabilize properly, accuracy will suffer. With lead bullets, you will also get leading.

Depending on your sizing and seating die dimensions, there's the possibility that you may be unable to get a snug bullet fit, even with a crimp. It's certainly worth trying, however.

Many years ago a friend gave me of bag of 9mms on .38 cases. They shot ok and were almost 'gallery' loads. I don't know the data he used though.

Thanks for all the responses, the 125 TC, like I said up top, shoot one hole at 50', little to no leading, a good dirt and plate load......
Will see how the 135gn RN cast and FMJ's fly.......2#
