Anybody had a fever due to booster?

I had my Moderna booster one week before my flu shot. No reaction to the Moderna booster. Flu shot gave me sweats and chills for a day, but I expected the reaction - I'm over 70, and get the double dose.

The wife got her Moderna booster last week with nothing other than a couple of days of sore shoulder. I get perforated for both Moderna booster and flu shot next week. I suspect I'll have the same reaction as before. Nothing but a sore shoulder. Or two...

I think it’s the flu shot more than the booster. I only had a sore arm for a day or two after the vaccine shots. That and doing it the same time as the booster probably didn’t help matters.
The doc said it should be no problem though….Should!

I got more than one shot at a time in the service because I didn't get a choice. I have a choice now and I'm not doing it. Most doctors don't recommend it either. So, the question is, why do it?

I have had three Covid shots, all Pfizer and no reaction.

I have run a fever from flu shots every time since I started getting the high dose version recommended for old folks. It only lasts 12 to 24 hours.

Pfizer #1 and #2 last spring. That #2 had me feeling bad for 3 days.

Moderna BOOSTER last week. Real flu like sick for 3 days with 101° fever.

Wifey had the same shots and booster as me. She had no symptoms.

Our physician told us to mix the brands to achieve better immunization.

Wife and I went the 3 Pfizer shots, both had sore arms at the site of the stick. Mrs. Native spent part of the next day in the rack while my head felt stuffy but I wasn't congested. Go figure (?) Self medicated with a beer or three and was fine.

I got my 3rd shot Moderna booster on the 13th. By Wed the 15th I had fever cough and generally quite sick. Previous shots had no reaction. I tested positive via the long PCR test and the Dr got me a Monoclonal Antibody Infusion the next day. The following day I felt like a new man.
I got the the Covid exposure at our grand children's Christmas Program the Friday before. The place was jammed with over 700 people and most were not masked and I am pretty sure many not vaccinated. My Granddaughter, SIL and several others at that concert got Covid 19 even though some were vaccinated.
MY thinking is the booster further weakened my immune system and I got sick because of the exposure at the concert and the booster. That's just my guess.
I did get a fever 102F. Today is the 19th and I feel pretty normal now. That Monoclonal Antibody Infusion is like a miracle drug.

"What me worry?"

"Cell and gene therapy" - Stefan Oelrich, president of Bayer's Pharmaceutical Division. Packaged as vaccines to lull the great unwashed. (His thoughts, not mine)

First two Pfizer doses gave me mild fevers and made me very tired the day after receiving them.

Just got my Pfizer booster on December 14th and this time no fever but made me very tired for the next two days. Feeling fine now on December 19th.

Early adapter here. No reaction to Pfizer shots 1 & 2. Got booster as soon as notified, and took flu shot at the same time. Next day I was a bit off for a couple hours. Flushed, sweaty brow, and hoping not to get sicker. Off to MSU vs UofM home game. Felt fine, especially when State won.

Had the Pfizer booster Friday; fever, mild swelling, and cold symptoms Saturday. Still having chills today. Very unlike the 1st & 2nd shots.

Clearly, I should have taken Dr SoFla’s treatment regimen. 🙂

I got the Moderna as fast as I could based on the advice of my doctors. I thin got the booster, same basis, and did the flu at the same time. (I'm really high risk.) I ended up with a really sore arm this last time, which is the only real effect I felt. My wife felt like death in a bag from the booster for a couple days.
