Anybody have a "Fancy" out on the town or going out gun?

I have a Commander sized 1911 on a Caspian frame with a custom serial # - my Bar #. I don't carry it, but it is a "show piece". (I don't show off my firearms as a rule, but I did show it to one of my assistants who is a shooter and looking for a 1911. She thought the serial # was cool.)

One of these Colts would do

Colt Custom Combat 10mm. Plain Jane features from Colt's custom shop. Electroless nickel is factory. I added the grips, Pachmyer mainspring housing, and full length guide rod.

Erocksmash, Bank Note and a 3 1/2" 25-2 I had made by Andy Horvath. Just traded the 25-2 away for a Bullseye 1911 that's a tack driver. Love the Bank Note, it's engraved but not with swirls like standard engraving. Oak leaves would be OK as engraving, Larry

I have a few that may qualify for this category. A Mod. 624, round butted post factory, a Mod. 66-2, 2.5" and my EDC, a series 80 Colt Officer's Model.
