I typically rotate through 4 or 5 handguns for daily carry, depending on what I'm expecting to get into or where I might be going. If I'm expecting to be at the desk all day I might opt for the 4516 IWB. I love the way it shoots and I'm very confident in it and my ability to hit what I'm aiming at.
When it get's into the really hot & muggy days (like it's just now starting to do), I'll switch to the Shield 45, both with and extra mag or two. When I feel really nostalgic, I carry the 66-1 snubby, with a couple of zip strip reloads.
But most often I find myself carrying the 6906 with a 5906 mag w/adaptor, and a spare. I can't for the life of me recall what holster this is, but it rides the 6960 at just the right height and angle for me. I can be in the truck seat all day without noticing it's there until I reach down to unbuckle the seatbelt.
It's another gun that I have a lot of confidence in, and it suits me much better than a black or tan plastic gun. In fact, of the 1/2 dozen or so 3rd gen Smiths I own, there's not a one of them that I don't feel comfortable carrying. (well, the 1076 on a 95° day with 75% humidity might be rough on a long day out in the field)
