anyone else shoot a taurus ....

If looks matter to you then don't get a Taurus. The hammer and trigger on my Model 605 snub look like they were beat with a hammer.
The magazines on my PT 92 don't sit flush with the grip. Other than that both guns work flawlessly.

Have three Taurus firearms-

Model 92 .44 Magnum lever action 20" blued. Excellent rifle, one of my favorites.

Model 63 .22 LR semi auto rifle, copy of the Winchester 63. Fit, finish is excellent. Last time I shot it, went full auto on me and my sister. Detail stripped and cleaned it, didn't notice any undo wear of the sear/hammer. Haven't shot it since.

Taurus PT 1911 5" .45 ACP- bought it from a coworker for $350.00 + transfer fee. VERY accurate and reliable. Have had no issues with it.

YMMV

I've had good results with all my Taurus revolvers & semiautos.

The Spousal Units favorite is the blinged out Spectrum Blue Total Titanium .38 spl...

I bought a Bersa 22 pistol off a friend who hadn't shot or cleaned it in decades. It went full auto on me when I test fired it. It hasn't done it since I cleaned it.

A model 66 Taurus .357 here.

Very limited experience with Taurus. I only own one and it is the only one I have ever shot. It is a clone of a S&W model 66. It is a 4 inch model .357.
That said it has worked flawlessly for many years. It is the first gun I grab when I want a walking around the property gun or to just to send some lead down range. Gotta save the S&Ws you know ;).
I do not know how old it is. I bought it used probably 15 years ago for $300. It was the first revolver that I purchased in .357 mag.
When I first bought it I contacted Taurus to find the date of manufacture. The response from Taurus was we don't know. I can't bash Taurus products. Mine has been perfect for many hundred rounds of .357 and .38s. JA

I have 4 of them, 2 1911s (9mm & 45), a357 Ti, and a 22 rev. The revolver was a little tight when I got it, but still good for the price.

I bought these mainly for the grandkids to shoot. If they got scratched up or ? so be it. As they got older they still like to shoot them.
