The manager came by and asked me if I'd like to try a crustless pizza, and I said sure...they had developed this mainly for those on low carb diets. He brought me a foil pan with sauce, cheese, and toppings, no crust. It was really good, and I didn't waste all those crusts.

I'll remember that for my MIL, she does the same thing.

I know this is heresy but am I the only one in the world that doesn't care for pizza? I know I'm in the minority but just had to ask.

I will admit that I'll eat a slice if it's all that I'm offered at a dinner or something but in MY world it's not something I want for dinner or I want at all.

My dad was this way. Would eat it if that's what was there, but didn't enjoy it.
Me, I could just about eat pizza every day.

A real NY pie with some fresh mozz, thin crust, real tomato sauce, basil, and baked in a REAL pizza oven is a completely different food than the 'pizza' most americans consider food.

If Dominoes was the only pizza available, I would indeed hate pizza ... but a REAL pie is something to die for.

Once you eat pizza from just about anywhere in NY it can be hard to go back to anywhere else and enjoy it again. I know this from experience... It was REAL hard...

I knew this would bring on the controversy so let it come!

Was expecting more of this! :)

I sure am!

I LOVE liver and onions and would take that over pizza anytime. I guess I am an infidel!

To YOU! :) To DIE FOR is good liver with bacon and onions, fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, good biscuits and gravy or chicken and dumplings!

Boy, you guys are easy to deal with! Pizza, yuck! :)

You don't like pizza but you like liver and onions... I was joking the first time but you may really be a Pizza Infidel for sure now... ;)

I try to eat pizza for 5 meals a week min. That includes breakfast twice.

Cold pizza, the true breakfast of champions!!! :D

Pizza once a week is ok but Taco Bell I can eat every meal.

You need to be tested for being another possible Pizza Infadel. If you only have a Dominos near you and nothing else then I can understand it. But to eat that much mushmeat taco trash may be grounds for man card removal and forced Pizza Infidel T-shirt wear...

Hey! You take that back right now!

Amen, brother... Them's there's fighten words if not taken back!!!

Don't like PIZZA? :eek::eek:

FT, we may be related by blood if not at least by marriage somewhere... You are a man of the pizza table cloth for sure!!!

What else would you have on a friday night?

Just add beer and you are complete.

How would someone not enjoy this?

Well now. I didn't even notice I was drooling hungry yet until you went and threw that at all of our faces!!! Thank you, and I mean that in the most positive and respectfull way!!! :D

I think you just need to try a GOOD pizza. Most aren't worthy of the name.

Yep , preferably Italians , or Greeks.

Though the WORST pizza I ever had was in Sicily!

Only because you haven't been dragged kicking and screaming into a "California Pizza Kitchen"... EPIC FAIL... I won't even continue...

Yes it IS! We don't tell anyone what's good grits, please don't tell us what's good pizza. :D

While I love pizza, it's certainly hard to get GOOD pizza.

If the only "pizza" available were Dominoe's, I wouldn't like pizza either. Of course it could plausibly be argued that I wouldn't actually know what pizza WAS.

I noticed your location is Mesquite...this was at the CiCi's at Galloway and Town East. I assume the other CiCi's locations may offer the same, but I don't know. It's not on their menu (at least it wasn't the last time we were in) but you can ask for it.

Gebe,

I would be interested in knowing what it is about pizza that you find objectionable, if you can put your finger on it; though I recognize that we can't always say what we like or don't like about something. Pizza does vary quite a bit in quality depending on where you buy it. Could it be that the establishments in your area are unusually deficient in competency?

You are not alone - I cannot even think of pizza without feeling nauseous. Garbage on a crust.

Ahhh! You've had one of my favorite pizzas! There used to be a hole in the wall here in Tulsa that had "Garbage Pizza." It had everything but anchovies on it, and it was excellent! They went out of business because the service was terrible, not because the pizza was bad. ;)

Pizza is indeed a variable feast. Sorry you haven't found the magic combo of crust, quality ingredients and authentic oven prep.

Buon Appetito!

Sounds like a local place to me call Perard's...

Perards Pizza - Home

They even make a pizza called, The Goat... It's way better than it sounds! And OMG the calzones and stromboli... (drools...)

It's so hard being a fat guy on a diet. :(

It says here they went out of business because they didn't put anchovies on it. ;-{>
