Lucked into a Banker's Special but it's in .38 Short so it doesn't get carried. The Colts are nice and I like the extra round, but I don't like the exposed ejection rod. And of course, the Colts turn the wrong way.
OCD1,
Yes, it is. It does carry nicely, and I would not trade it for anything, even for a .45 ACP revolver which is something I have slobbered to own for a long time....someday! LOL
I tried it out in a Mika pocket holster today. Not used to have a exposed hammer. It snagged my pocket several times. Either needs a shroud or a bobbed hammer but would hate to "desecrate" a nice gun.
Got a 1961 Cobra last fall from the male goose on the hill; very clean less some finish lost on the top of the frame. Have yet to shoot it much-new house-new hip (or more accuratly old hip).

I had a brother-in-law leave me a new, late model Detective Special that I haven't gotten around to shooting. No way is that situation going to continue for much longer! Any who said brothers-in-laws couldn't be great guys?
I have only one Colt snubby - this Detective Special. It dates from 1959. I also have the original box and papers for it. Still prefer the Smith J-frames for compactness.
