Hey Folks,
This last weekend I picked up a M13 that is stamped 10-6. It does not look like a barrel swap, nor do the cylinders look punched out after it left the factory.

I have a strong feeling this might be one of the 1200 that were sent to NY. Does anyone know what the serial number ranges on those guns should be?

Also, the literature makes mention that those 1200 gun were recalled, but it doesn't say what happened to them after that. Did they release them commercially?

Thanks guys!

The first 357 Mag guns were made in the M10-6 engineering change because the M13 didn't exist at the time (same with the M64's in 357 Mag). Shortly thereafter, they decided to re-name them as the M13 (and the M65 for the stainless counterpart).
My M10-6 NYSP is serial numbered in the D6346xx range, is yours close?
Best to letter your specific gun to get more info, that's the only way to be sure if it's original.
