I know this has already been confirmed, but I sell these and I can 100% vouch for the fact that they are indeed all original magpul furniture. They come with mil-spec or commercial-spec stocks. I've seen the ones I've stocked in person, but I've never had any of the wildfire version in stock so don't know what it looks like in person. You can go over to
Water Transfer Printing Film | Hydrographic Film | Water Transfer Film and check out the patterns in a high resolution format. They are all great quality and the ones I've seen look just like the pics at that link. FYI, the high desert is A-TACS (aka A-TACS AU). They recently released the A-TACS FG and Tiger Stripe (vietnam style). They are Magpul so they're great quality, but the real question is whether the dip holds up. We have some on a couple of rifles and some buddies of mine have put some different patterns on and they all still look brand new, but they also haven't been abused. My main gripe is that they are only available as a kit instead of individual parts so that you can get what you want/need. I also wished they made them in mid-length and rifle length. But I guess if you have a carbine length and want all the parts in the kit it works out well.
You can pick up all the parts undipped for about $130 so your basically paying about $50 to have them dipped. I would recommend checking with your local hydro graphics places and see how much they would charge. If they're cheaper than $50, have them do it. If they are not and you like one of these patterns (and the parts they are on) then pick one up.
Also, if you're planning to have your whole gun done then try and save money, see what your local guy would do it for if he does the whole thing. Though they may charge more than $50 to dip just the parts, if adding the parts on to the whole process will add less than $50, be sure to have them do it to save a few bucks. See if you can snag a package deal.
EDIT: After re-reading, it looks like I'm implying that they offer all of the patterns at the link I provided. While that company does provide all those patterns and your local hydro guys should be able to get them, the only patterns currently offered as a kit from MDI are muddy girl, a-tacs (high desert), a-tacs fg, tiger stripe, inglorious ingot (zombie looking), black reaper (skull look), bounty hunter, wildfire, highlander, carbon fiber, and typhon. Sorry if I caused any confusion.
