Greetings, All,
After taking my new Shield 9 home, I fell in love with it in all ways, except one: I hate that crappy, CA-approved, LCI that Commiefornia forced S&W to add to any Shield sold in this State!!
After some perusing on the internet, and after having watched a great video on a replacement LCI from Apex, that is low profile, I bought one. Ordered from Brownell's, it arrived very quickly, and this morning, I did the very easy replacement of the offending, and gaudy LCI, and have to say the new Low Profile LCI from Apex is outstanding in every way! It looks great, is fully functional both visually and tactically, and does NOT interfere with obtaining a solid, and repeatable sight picture, like the OEM one did!
For those who live in the messed up State, who has a Shield 9, and hate that awful OEM LCI, I can happily vouch for the offering from Apex!!! Again, it's an easy fix, and I'm sure you will be happy with the results!!! Thanks, Apex, and please keep up the good work!! Take care, and God Bless!
