Back Again

Been a member since 2007 when I retired but got away from Smiths. Planning to buy a BG380 soon so I thought I'd come back. Originally wanted a Block but decided against it. Even bought a few +3 mag extensions. Oh well.

Tried a couple of forums for other makes I own but found the members were DB's. Too many egotists who thought that just because they were NRA instructors they were experts. And the mods were worse. I worked on .223 R&D probably before they were born And I was a mod in the 90's. I look forward to a better experience here.

One of my biggest regrets is selling my Model 59 in the 70's

I tried several other forums, not specific to manufacturers, and found wall-to-wall egotism, self-proclaimed gurus and Zen masters, Wally-World commandos, way-over-the-edge politics, and rampant loony conspiracy theories. Bailed out of all but one, and it's going by the wayside very soon.

I've always loved Smiths--in my old age my only handguns are two S&W revolvers--but better still, I've found courtesy, humor, expertise, and good but respectful control by the mods here.
