Takes me all of 10 minutes because I am shooting the bull with the FFL holder while we fill out the 4473. No call here with CWP. He just puts its number on the form.
We don't care if your a Yankee or know how to whistle Dixie if you just go with the flow, try to fit in and don't try to "improve" our life style or laws you will be fine. Do not tell people your from California, we don't want care about how you do it back where ever. Remember that what your neighbor is doing on his property is his business. If it bothers you that he has 2 rusty cars, BBQ meat several times a week and you don't like it, that is your problem. If his rooster crows at 5:30am and it wakes you up make a cup of coffee, and welcome the day. You must not have been that tired if a chicken can keep you awake. Cattle have a tenancy to smell, like cattle, if it bothers you don't be a moron and move in by someone who has them. DUH
You can drive around with a car full of loaded guns from a 2" pistol to a 32" 50BMG, in about any configuration without any kind of permit what so ever, the size of your magazines is your business. Cop sees a gun in your car he won't even blink. He couldn't even inspect it without a warrant anyway. Your car, your castle, just like your home, same thing goes for your tent while camping. The gun stores in town have ARs on the shelf right now. You have the money, state ID and pass the check or have a CWP, you can walk right out the door with one or 2 or 6, in less than 30 minutes. Want a silencer or a full auto? Thats between you and the feds, the state is fine with it.
Yes, it is going to get really cold and it is gonna snow. It helps keep the rats, cockroaches, whiners and snivelers out. If you can't drive on snow covered, icy roads either stay home or leave.
If someone having snow on their car irritates you, your going to spend all winter being irritated. But, the guy with snow on his pickup will stop and ask you if you need help when you run off in the ditch or break down. Give you a ride or even pull you out.The semis are going to have chunks of ice the size of small boulders dropping off from the build behind their wheels anyway. The smart thing to do is stay back and be ready. Might have to dodge a deer or an elk anyway and those are far more apt to be a problem than snow off someones roof.
When I hear about laws on this, I always imagine some poor truck driver getting up on the icy roof of his trailer to clear the snow at 20 below after a night in the rest area 50 miles from any town. LOL. Not happening folks.
