Actually not.
Freedom of Speech is not given by the Constitution, it is guaranteed in the Constitution. The premise is that Freedom of Speech is a God-given right, or, for the Godless, it is presumed to be a natural right of man.

I don't believe that the guests in my home should be able to say whatever they want. In fact freedom of speech will have a short life span when used to liberally in front of my wife or children. In effect we are guest in Lee's home.

In years past my freedom to swing a fist has been know to override someone's freedom of speech. LOL

It always gets me that most of the believers of 100% freedom of speech only think it applies to their beliefs. Who here believes anyone should be able to say anything they want to you, your wife or children?

I doubt the Brady Campaign will ever get to deliver very many anti gun speeches at NRA conventions or vs a versa

With apologies for snark: Because you don't contribute to the forum, which would make all ads go away? (And AI algorithms figure out what sorts of ads are likely to appeal to individual computer users...)

From what I know we have nothing to do with which adds you see on your screen. Like said above, your browser history triggers what type of adds you see.

We can not control adds and if they really bother you, like said above, you can contribute to the forum and all adds go away. I'm not soliciting donations, just explaining how to make the adds disappear.

They are ads, not discussion. Furthermore, they are typically based on your browser history.

As mentioned, if you contribute at the Bronze Level or above, the ads go away. Otherwise they help cover the cost to maintain this vast collection of knowledge.

I joined this forum years ago when I bought my first S&W firearm to learn about firearms and appreciate that is the primary focus of this community. If I was interested in discussing with others the topics that this forum bans I would join other social media platforms.....I am not and I don't.
Here's the way I see it.....if you don't like it here, don't let the door hit you in the behind on the way out! No one here will miss you.
