I've seen some real slick photo's of M&P's that have had the slide bead blasted to reveal the stainless steel finish under the usual parkerized coating.

Anyone have this done to theirs? Good? Bad? Ugly? Recommendations?

The slides on the M&P are coated in Melonite so I do not know if the finish would come off just by bead blasting alone. I guess if you wanted to have the two tone look you could do it but I'd hate to void the lifetime warranty on a great pistol.

I like the two tone look. Here is a M&P9c that the slide has been polished bright. Some hates it but I like it.

I am debating whether I should do the barrell lug on the top and right side.

On my particular project, I will be using Mothers stainless steel polish and a Dremel with the polishing cloth wheel.
