I think that person has already been contacted by PETA.

I'd also like to know where that person lives. If I had an anthill that big in my yard I don't think I'd want to let the dog out anymore.

oh sure, show this video when there is a foot of snow on the ground. i have a few hundred lbs of wheel weights i want to try that with lol.
pretty cool effect .
the ants probably didnt appreciate their new aluminum siding ,though

I saw a program on TV where they were doing this only with molten Zinc. Melts at a lower temp but the aluminum cast must be a lot easier to handle.

Good way to interact with wild life anyway,,get the children involved.
I saw a few of the critters running away when they were pouring.
A little extra splash could have got'em.

If you have any ants, their colony is probably at least that big.

We have a serious ant problem at our house. I'm sure I could make a casting much bigger, but who wants to dig it up?

I did set an ant hill on fire :o (when i was a kid) but that was nice.

A Swedish artist used the same principle with brass,
but on gunshot cavities in ballistic gel.

I had to open this one to see what was claimed to be better than using a magnifying glass on ants. This has to be a close second.
