Well after hours of research on this forum I pulled the trigger on a S&W M&P 15-22 from Atlantic Tactical for $399.00. The NJ compliant version. Took it to the range last night and put about 5 magazines of CCI standard though it with no issues. As far as recoil it was about what I expected.
When I go back to the range next I need to bring my group up so I will need to adjust my rear sight UP.
The rifle is very accurate and I was impressed with all the features on the firearm. For those that this applies to the serial on mine was HBY-XXXX, guy said they were just shipped in.
Does anyone have any recos. for reflex style red dot sights? Im looking into a Barska elecro red dot for $55.
I am very happy with the rifle and I am glad I picked one up! Now I need some magazines.. Haha
