Hard to say from one photo and view. Except for the mark around the bug screw it does not look like it to me.

From a limited perspective the finish seems original. But it definitely shows use and age.

Post a picture of the front of the extractor rod. The finish looks original to me. The face of the rod should be in the white.

Looks good to me, great example of a 1917.

Looks like a righteous Model of 1917 to me, and in pretty nice condition. Even the color case hardening on the hammer is fine. Mine is just a little younger than yours (s/n 132922; ca. late 1918) and is in great shape. I hope you take it out to the range and put some rounds through it...they're fun to shoot and accurate. Enjoy!
