I'm going to start reloading rounds for my 32-20 but I'm having trouble finding a cast bullet supplie. I found 3 suppliers but 2 are out of stock every time due to limeted productiin and one doesn't accept debit/credit card payments. Does anyone have a reliable source or am I better off buying a cast and small pot to do it myself ? Id rather not do my own cast. I enjoy reloading but casting isn't my thing lol

That’s an extremely common caliber. Especially in bullet molds. I also mold my own but Gun shows are an outstanding resource for reloading supplies. It’s not difficult to find bullets in .311-.312 and even brass for the 32-20.
Are you shooting rifle or pistol?
Huge difference with reloading between rifle and pistol in this caliber.

Hi There,

The most common Lyman molds for the 32-20 are # 3118 (now # 311008)
and # 311316 (basically the same mold except made to accept a gas check).
There are many other 32 caliber bullet molds that Lyman offer but may not
be suitable for use in a tubular magazine.

Cheers!

Ammoseek dot com is my go to for finding components. I’m getting into casting asap though in hopes to cut projectile cost.

I'm shooting pistol. In my area i can't seam to find .311 lead in stock. And with me being a trucker I miss most gun shows unfortunately. Powder and primers are available at cabelas and brass isn't a issue either, it's just the lead I'm having a hard time finding.

Ok,
Now that we’ve confirmed a pistol platform you will have to hand load for your pistol. Rifle rounds won’t work well in your gun. Pistol loading data shown.
Also pistol bullets seen in photos. The rifle bullets don’t work as well either.
As far as lead? I’m sure you have sporting goods stores close with fishing supplies? You can always buy lead fishing weights and mold your own bullets. The cheapest bullet molds are made by LEE and you can mail order them. Pick one of the 3 types that are seen in the photo and you can’t go wrong. The best one by far is the SWC.
From an investment standpoint it’s better to purchase an antique iron bullet mold because they are going up in value.
Your call.

Acme has 32-20 coated cast bullets in stock but only 115gr weight and RNFP design.
I've been using their bullets in other calibers for quite a while with no problems. They shoot nice, are cheaper than copper jacketed bullets, and the coating prevents leading up barrels.
Badman Bullets also has some uncoated 100gr 32-20 cast bullets in stock.
