Actually, now that I think about it, 9/11/2001 was not an act of terror. It was caused by HIGH CAPACITY AIRCRAFT. If elected I will introduce legislation to ban from this nation all aircraft which have more than one engine and/or have more than nine seats and/or are able to carry more than 100 gallons of fuel....

This date was far from the first time an airplane flew into a building. I recall my Grandfather telling me stories of planes flying into the empire state building while it was being built. Pretty sure that wasn't the only one struck. Granted those hits weren't intentional, as far as we know.

A B-25J medium bomber on a training mission during the war made a wrong turn and hit the ESB. Killed the crew and some pedestrians on the ground.

People have both intentionally and accidentally flown light civilian aircraft into buildings. Even stick built two story residences survive Cessnas and Pipers.

Its those big heavy aircraft carring literally tons of Kerosene (JP4 is just double filtered kerosene) that are a danger. Fire from the JP4 doomed the WTC.

50 years ago a different loon shot 46 people with a auto loading M-1 carbine in Austin. His targets were far more dispersed. No logical argument can be made that a particular type of firearm or a particular kind of stock is more likely to cause or contribute to these mental helth episodes. And IMHO if you banned all firearms someone would shoot at someone else with a longbow.

Ohhh I am sure they will get around to banning bows also. Ya know in England folks cannot carry a lock back knife. That means when doing chores they risk cutting their fingers off with blades with no locking mechanism.
